Vatican

The Vatican Museum displays works including sculptures and masterpieces of the Renaissance collected through time. If you could only imagine my face when we entered this place. I was in complete awe. I mean, pick up my jaw off the floor.

Raphael Rooms

Look at those details! Too bad you're not allowed to take photos inside the Sistine Chapel.

St. Peter's Basilica

Pieta by Michaelangelo

Meet my brother, Gino. My photographer for the whole trip.

I learned A LOT from this quick trip to the Vatican that my professors in Art School didn't mention. Or maybe I just wasn't paying attention. Haha!

Next stop, Florence.

R O M A

We didn't have any tour guides during the trip so we relied on our maps and instincts. In all fairness, we got lost in Italy just one time (on our first day to be exact) and then it was smooth sailing from then on. As long as you know how the metro works, you're good to go.

One of my favorite metro stops was the Colosseo. Imagine the Colosseum greeting you as you walk up the stairs from the subway. Breathtaking.

"Are you not entertained!?"
Insert Russell Crowe from the Gladiator.

Outside the Colosseum.

Trevi Fountain under renovation, boo!

Spanish Steps

Rome at night. So romantic.

I find it so cool that almost all the buildings/houses in Rome are color coordinated.

Next stop, Vatican City.

Eurotrip 2015

Hi guys!

If you've been following me on Instagram, you would know that my family and I got to spend the summer traveling across Europe. I feel so lucky to have seen and experience those historically rich cities first hand. "hashtagamazing" would be an understatement if I were to describe the whole trip. It was tiring, YES. But all the back pain, running around and getting lost in tubes was all worth it. I can't wait to share it with you guys.

First stop, Roma.
